The mission of OASIS is to promote full recovery from the first episode of psychosis using proven and innovative approaches, comprehensive specialty care, and integrative medicine. OASIS provides a variety of services, such as medical management, individual and group psychotherapies, employment and education support services to help individuals experiencing or recovering from a first episode of psychosis. We believe that these effective, life-saving services should be accessible for all North Carolinians.

Support OASIS

OASIS Chapel Hill
Your support of OASIS will fund specialized programs, train new and existing mental health service providers, and conduct forward-thinking research. Your gift will also support the expansion of programs like the Peer Support Program.

The Peer Support Program connects a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) with a client of the OASIS Program. A CPSS has experience with psychosis and is certified by the state of North Carolina. Meeting with a CPSS allows a client to talk to someone who has been through treatment themselves and can talk about their own experiences with recovery. With funding, the program can expand social activities providing opportunities for a wider variety of group events for our clients, and would allow inclusion for all clients, regardless of ability to pay.
