New Partnership Expands Reach
UNC Rex Healthcare has served the people of Wake County and the surrounding area for more than 125 years, offering expert care and a commitment to meeting the community’s needs for generations. And for more than two decades, UNC Rex has proudly been part of UNC Health. This partnership has enhanced UNC Rex’s ability to provide patients with the best patient-centered care, as well as the collaborative expertise of some of the world’s top researchers and clinical trials.
We are excited to share a new step in the relationship between UNC Rex and UNC Health, with the Rex Healthcare Foundation’s integration into the UNC Health Foundation. We combined our organizations and resources to expand our reach into the community. UNC Health Foundation’s team of philanthropic professionals, track record of financial and investment success, and robust donor outreach and communications are just a few of the strengths we will leverage to benefit UNC Rex patients, donors, and teammates.
Our partnership also follows the core principle of One UNC Health, the system-wide effort to work together to build bonds and create strategic relationships throughout the state.
This partnership provides enhanced services to those who have faithfully supported UNC Rex through the years and strengthens our ability to provide for patients and their families where they need it most. Most importantly, all money raised for UNC Rex Healthcare will continue to support and expand the programs and services provided at UNC Rex.
