Ronnie Batchelor is a founding partner at Batchelor, Tillery & Roberts, LLP, with over 44 years of public accounting experience, focused primarily on taxation. His expertise includes work with nonprofit organizations, owner-managed businesses, S Corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and high-net-worth individuals. Before founding his firm in 1991, Ronnie spent ten years at KPMG Peat Marwick, where he served as the director of the Personal Financial Planning Practice for two years.

A dedicated professional, Ronnie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Ronnie has also made a meaningful impact in his community. He has served on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the YMCA of the Triangle Area, Inc., including as Past-President, and held leadership roles at the Carolina Country Club in Raleigh, such as Treasurer, Vice President, and President. He was a founding shareholder and board member of CapStone Bank and currently serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the UNC Health Foundation, where he chairs the Audit Committee. At White Memorial Presbyterian Church, Ronnie has served as Deacon, Elder, and Clerk of the Session. He has also been a board member and treasurer for several other local nonprofit organizations.

Ronnie earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 1981.
