Roper Hall – Our New Medical Education Building Fund
Once completed, Roper Hall will rest on our historic foundation and expand our ability to graduate more loyal, compassionate physicians educated across the state to serve the health of our population. The citizens of North Carolina have committed $68 Million to this vitally important capital project. Your gift will transform medical education as we train next-generation physician leaders.
Medical Alumni Loyalty Fund
Founded 30 years ago by UNC MD Alumni, your gift to our priority alumni annual fund supports scholarships, fosters academic excellence, provides enrichment opportunities for students and faculty, and builds community, both here at Carolina and for years to come.
Medical Education Development (MED) Program Fund
The MED program annually provides a structured, rigorous summer curriculum for aspiring medical and dental students. In addition to preparing deserving students to competitively apply for admissions, the program provides clinical and career skills and a professional network to support career success. Your gift to the MED Program funds tuition costs to ensure students participate at no cost and with a small stipend.
SHAC Support Fund
Since 1967, Student Health Action Coalition (SHAC) has provided free health services to the uninsured and underinsured in our surrounding community. In this student-run, experiential learning clinic, students learn how to perform as part of an interprofessional care team providing holistic health services, while caring for the well-being of our community. Your gift supports our essential operating costs and helps ensure sustainability for years to come.
Medical Education Excellence Fund
The Excellence Fund is the priority annual fund for friends and family of medical education at UNC School of Medicine. Your gift fosters academic excellence and provides enrichment opportunities for students and faculty.
