The Mary Anne Long Patient and Family Resource Center supports cancer patients and families from all 100 counties of North Carolina and beyond. One of the key resources provided through the center is our Comprehensive Cancer Support Program to help patients in need.

Celebrating 30 Years of the Patient and Family Resource Center
When an ultrasound detected a mass on Michael’s kidney, he quickly found himself under the care of Eric Wallen, MD, FACS, Professor of Urologic Oncology, Robotic Surgery at UNC Lineberger. The surgical team removed an eight-pound cancerous tumor, and Michael, now 36, has been cancer-free for 10 years.
