UNC Health Foundation FY25 Annual Report

My name is Margaret Ann Bollmeier, and it is a tremendous honor to share with you our UNC Health Foundation FY25 Annual Report. In my first months as president of the Foundation and chief philanthropy officer of UNC Health and UNC School of Medicine, I have had the chance to meet so many individuals – faculty, staff, students, donors, alumni and friends – who share a deep passion for advancing our mission to transform healthcare throughout North Carolina and around the world.

That shared passion runs through everything we do here in Chapel Hill and across our statewide healthcare system. Your support for more than 50,000 UNC Health teammates and our School of Medicine drives innovation, powers game-changing science and, most importantly, provides hope for countless patients and families who depend on us every day.

I am thrilled to share that in the past fiscal year you helped raise more than $140 million in gifts and commitments in support of UNC Health and UNC School of Medicine. Additionally, under the leadership of my predecessor Leslie Nelson-Bernier, you and our UNC Health Foundation team helped provide more than $46 million in programmatic support to bolster health outcomes across North Carolina and beyond.

As you read the stories of impact in this report, I hope you will share my tremendous pride in being part of a group of dedicated supporters who make all of this possible.
