DipJars are cashless donation jars the the Foundation uses at some events to allow attendees to easily donate at the event.

DIPJAR Information

Important Information - Please read:

Gifts made via DipJar do not capture donor information and are not receipted or acknowledged. Please post a sign to make donors aware of this near the DipJar during your event.
At the end of each giving campaign, Maddi Muse will email Tina Rice and Event Lead with the final amounts. Tina will then add the transactions to Davie as anonymous gifts.
The giving amount and designation is pre-set for a DipJar the entire event, so it cannot be altered for a donor to give more/less or to go to another fund. We recommend setting amounts in increments of $5 and not exceeding $250 per jar.
The serial number on the DipJar is the DipJar #.
DipJars run on LTE and do not require a Wi-Fi connection, but they will need to be plugged into an outlet to work. If you receive an error message, please unplug to start over.
There are 3 available DipJars for Checkout at the UNC Health Foundation, they will be assigned to your event based on first availability.
Please return DipJars to Maddi Muse 2 business days after your event. If you are unable to do so, please contact Maddi and coordinate an appropriate drop-off time.
DipJar totals can be pulled 2 business days after your event by an individual that has DipJar administration access. The spreadsheet with totals will be sent to the event organizer as well as Tina Gillam so she can update the funds.
