Karen AlbrittonKaren Albritton is a seasoned marketing and communications executive experienced in leading teams and driving growth. As the former President and CEO of Capstrat, a strategic communications firm, Karen played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s footprint and delivering innovative solutions to clients across various industries. After Capstrat’s acquisition by Ketchum, she continues to influence the marketing landscape providing strategic guidance to brands on growth, strategy, and leadership transition.

In addition to her corporate leadership, Karen is deeply committed to service and giving back to the community. She has served on several boards, including the UNC Health Foundation, American Marketing Association, National Association of Corporate Directors – RTC, and International Women’s Forum – Carolinas. Her board work reflects her passion for health care, leadership development, and advancing the profession of marketing.

She shares her passion for leadership as a speaker at industry conferences such as the Internet Summit, the AMA Leadership Summit, AIA Aspire, the Women’s Leadership Conference, National Association for Corporate Directors and the PRSA Counselors Academy Annual Conference. She also speaks to corporate audiences for companies like Credit Suisse, Siemens, Vanderbilt Health, Ward and Smith and Cotton, Incorporated.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She and her husband Ronnie live in Emerald Isle, N.C.
