Blue Ribbon Run

The Blue Ribbon Run is a 5K and 1-mile fun run in Wilmington NC to raise funds and awareness for colorectal cancer. The Blue Ribbon Run was founded ten years ago to honor two Wilmington moms, Julie M. Brown and Christina Gianoplus, who both lost their battles at the young age of 41. The Blue Ribbon Run has established an endowment in their names at UNC-Lineberger to help find a cure for this prevalent cause of cancer death.
