She ROCKS 5K & Fun Run in Wilmington

She ROCKS bring awareness and attention to ovarian cancer – and raises funds to support research and patients who are undergoing treatment in our communities. This year’s 5K and Fun Run will be held at Longleaf Park in Wilmington, NC.
Emma Brown, daughter of Mike and Tracy Brown, planned, organized and executed the She ROCKS 5k & Fun Run in 2019 as a senior in high school. As a college student at UNC-Chapel Hill, Emma still leads the team as She ROCKS works to bring her vision to life for the Annual She ROCKS 5k & Fun Run on October 28th. Tracy was a founding Board member for She ROCKS. Mary Barto, co-founder and Board Member Emeritus, said “Tracy was the kindest person. She was always willing to stop and help with anything. She was instrumental in getting our luncheons started and lived the mission. Tracy was a friend to all.”
