Teddy Bears Create Smiles at UNC Children's

YOU DID SOMETHING AMAZING!

Stephanie D. Davis, MD, physician-in-chief at UNC Children’s (right), helped deliver bears to young patients.

Thanks to donors like YOU, 200 soft and cuddly teddy bears were recently given to medically challenged kids at UNC Children’s.

Patients from preemies to teenagers received bears.

Kids in the emergency department, hematology oncology clinic, pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), newborn critical center (NCCC), specialty clinics and more all received bears.

What a relief for parents to watch their children smile and feel like kids again!

At the same time, you raised almost $10,000 to support important programming and life-saving equipment for sick and injured children at UNC Children’s.
