As you may know, Roy was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in 2019.  AML is a blood cancer with poor prognosis.  A clinical trial at UNC gave hope for extending his life. Roy received treatments offered through research at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center (in conjunction with Johns Hopkins) allowing him to enjoy nearly four years of quality of life, exceeding all expectations.

Please consider supporting our efforts to raise critical funds for AML research by making a donation through this page.  Your kindness will bring new hope to blood cancer patients across the country.

In addition, please consider donating platelets and/or blood, as there is currently a nationwide critical shortage.
