Jon Angier has accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer at the UNC Health Foundation, effective July 24, Foundation president Leslie H. Nelson-Bernier announced recently. Angier joins the Foundation after nearly 10 years as director of finance for UNC Faculty Physicians.
A graduate of the Florida State University College of Business, Angier currently lives in Chapel Hill with his partner Dani Burns and their two dogs.
“We are incredibly excited to have Jon join the Foundation and for him to lead our outstanding finance team,” Nelson-Bernier said. “I also want to extend my sincere gratitude to Cindy Carter and Alex Hayden for their leadership and hard work throughout the past eight months.”
UNC Health Foundation supports clinical care, research and education for areas across UNC Health, UNC School of Medicine, cancer, children’s, and many other hospitals, clinics, centers and institutes throughout the state of North Carolina.
